How long has pellet therapy been used?

Testosterone replacement therapy by pellet implantation has been used with great success in the United States, Europe and Australia since 1938 and found to be superior to other methods of hormone delivery.

Why is pellet implantation a better method of delivery?

Pellets provide a constant blood level of the hormone while avoiding the fluctuations that occur with all other methods of administration.

How are pellets inserted?

Pellets are inserted into the hip area under the skin, where they slowly dissolve over a 3-6 month period. The in-office procedure takes approximately 15-20 minutes and is virtually painless by use of an injectable aesthetic.
