Sclerotherapy is a medical procedure used to treat “spider veins by injecting a glycerin  solution directly into the affected vein. The glycerin irritates the lining of the vessel, causing it to swell and stick together and over time, the vessel turns into scar tissue that fades from view. It usually takes 3 treatments to completely correct.
